Within the framework of TRANSENGRAIS, these two companies have pooled their fleet of gravity-unloading hopper wagons, specialised in the transport of bulk fertilizers. In order to offer a wider range of services to their customers, TRANSENGRAIS also offers side-tipping wagons for bulk fertilizers and R20 sliding roof or "Débach vit" wagons for packaged fertilizers. We transport 1.3 million tonnes of fertilizer with an annual sales turnover of €11 million. Our European customers are fertilizer producers, traders, importers and users. TRANSENGRAIS meets customer requirements and enables them to face up to the fluctuations that the fertilizer market may undergo during the course of the year. We offer great flexibility in the use of our wagons and we bring pro-active participation to the organisation of the supply chain. We also offer a range of services, from one-off wagon hire to exclusive hire for the short and medium term. To optimise transport organisation, TRANSENGRAIS deals with the order management of its customers, and thanks to its knowledge of the lead times involved in railway movements, as well as the infrastructure at both source and destination, it can ensure smooth transport arrangements. TRANSENGRAIS also meets the need for the bulk product movement : 1,300 tonnes net. The rolling stock is equiped for the transport of dangerous goods : interchangeable signage, labelling, specific tracking. The maintenance of the fleet is carried out in specialised workshops, which ensure technical quality monitoring for available rolling stock.
